Read →Updated 2026-09-25RADIOSOL is a first-person journey through the ruins of a world burned by a planetary cataclysm. You navigate the remains of megastructures and abandoned cities while avoiding the scorching rays of the Sun — and somewhere in the quiet, you are looking for answers. Chapter I releases September 30, 2026.
The game is tagged as a walking simulator and an exploration-driven adventure, and the pitch is close to literal: you walk, you look, you listen — but the Sun is the antagonist, and the world still hides things worth finding off the main path.
What's confirmed before launch
- Release: Chapter I on September 30, 2026 — Windows and Linux, seven languages (English, Russian, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Spanish).
- Format: story chapters, not DLC. The devs have said later chapters arrive as updates to the base game, and the price rises after Chapter II.
- Survival, not power fantasy: you avoid the Sun's beams and don't need to fight anything — the launch build ships with tuned hazard systems (spiders, Dust Devils, cognitive damage) that live on atmosphere, not combat depth.
- Saving that stays saved: the 9/22 pre-launch build made radio markers persistent — place them, keep them.
- Exploration is optional where it counts: the developer's own words — searching every inch of the map isn't required to progress, but there are things to discover off the main path.
First hour, five habits
- Read the tutorial text. It was rewritten right before launch; it tells you how the Sun actually kills.
- Walk shade to shade. Concrete blocks the light — learn to read the shadows of megastructures like streets.
- Listen, don't stare. Audio is wired into the spider damage system; your ears warn you before your eyes do.
- Drop radio markers as breadcrumbs. They persist, so every marker you leave is a gift to your future self.
- Wander off-path — on purpose. Files and set-pieces reward detours, and nothing punishes them.
